Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 6-9 days in order to process it.<\/p>\n<p>A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.<\/p>\n<p>To access the form for your tax refund, please click here<\/p>\n<p>Regards,<br \/>\nInternal Revenue Service<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You know what stands out about this email (other than the obvious fact that the IRS does NOT email)?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>allow us 6-9 days in order to process it<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Since when does the IRS EVER process something in 6 to 9 days? They don&#8217;t do things in single digit days. It&#8217;s more like weeks.<\/p>\n<p>So of course, I went to the site, and they want my &#8220;credit card&#8221; to give me my money back. So I give them Billy Bob Joe&#8217;s credit card number.
